Here&#8217;s the full text of Proclamation No. 2085 (see also <a href=\"http:\/\/visitpinas.com\/inaugural-speech-of-president-benigno-noynoy-aquino-iii\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">full inaugural speech<\/a> of President Noynoy Aquino).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">PROCLAMATION NO. 2085<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">Declaring Wednesday, June 30, 2010 as a Special Non-Working Holiday Throughout the Philippines<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Whereas, the presidential inaugural ceremonies for the incoming President of the Republic of the Philippines will be held on June 30, 2010;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whereas, it is fitting and proper that all citizens of our country be given full opportunity to witness and welcome this historic event in the life of the nation;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, therefore, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by the virtue of the power vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, June 30, 2010, a special non- working holiday throughout the Philippines;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Done in the City of Manila, this 17th day of June, in the year of our Lord 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\">(Sgd.)
