Existing community quarantine classifications are: Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ), General Community Quarantine (GCQ), and Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ). The reclassification of many areas to MECQ and GCQ means more establishments are allowed to operate. Here is a quick guide for employers to determine if the company is allowed to operate and, in the affirmative, the requirements for such operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

QUARANTINE CLASSIFICATION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

NATURE OF BUSINESS\/INDUSTRY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The nature of business conducted by the company determines: (a) Whether or not the company is allowed to operate; and (b) At what operating capacity the company is allowed to operate. If the company is allowed to operate, the company must comply with the minimum health standards in the workplace (e.g., companies are required to provide face masks, conduct contactless temperature check, etc.).
